Deacon Tony was a member of the first Archdiocesan Revised Diaconate Class and was ordained in June 2001 by Archbishop Daniel A. Cronin. He was assigned to the Church of St. Timothy, where he served for eleven years before being reassigned to his home parish of Sacred Heart Church.

He holds a B.S. in Economics (1998) and an MBA in Finance (1983). Deacon Tony is retired from the State of Connecticut after thirty‑seven years of service, working both at the Office of the State Treasurer and the Department of Public Health.

He and his wife, Grace, have been married for over thirty‑seven years. They are blessed with two wonderful children, Uju and Emmanuel, and two beautiful grandchildren, Olisamaka and Trinity.
